You can make a difference -
      You can change someone's destiny!

At this moment in the United States, nine million children are living with a parent that struggles with a substance addiction. The numbers are staggering and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But the battle against addiction isn't fought in the large numbers, it's fought one person at a time. When someone gets treatment for substance abuse, more often than not, they're not the only one's that get well.  To put it in the words of a 5-year-old whose family had been touched by addiction and was fortunate enough to get treatment, "Dad's much nicer now!" Not only did a father's destiny change, the destiny of his children also changed.

Here's how you can help

1. Educate yourself about addiction and help reduce the stigma that surrounds it. To find resources for learning about addiction, check out our on-line resource page or our media & print resource page.

2. Encourage anyone you know that struggles with addiction to get the help they need.

3. Make a donation to change someone's destiny and win the battle against addiction.
